First Burn: Setting the Memory

To ensure an even, long-lasting burn, allow the wax to fully melt across the surface during the first burn. This process, which takes about 3–4 hours, prevents tunneling and sets your candle’s “burn memory.”

Wick Maintenance: Keeping It Clean & Steady

• Trim before each burn: Keep the cotton wick at around 4mm for a steady flame and optimal burn. Small scissors or wick trimmers work perfectly.

• Remove debris: Ensure the wax pool remains clear of wick trimmings or match remnants to maintain a clean, even burn.

Optimal Burning Practices

• Choose the right spot: Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, fans, or vents.

• Burn time: Limit each burn session to 4–5 hours to preserve the integrity of the wax blend and prevent overheating.

Extinguishing the Flame

For a clean and safe finish, use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. This prevents wax splatter and helps extend the candle’s life.

Storage & Preservation

• Use the lid provided to protect your candle from dust and preserve its fragrance.

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat, to maintain the quality of the wax and scent.

Safety Reminders

• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish before leaving the room or going to sleep.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Avoid flammable materials. Keep candles away from curtains, bedding, and other ignitable surfaces.

Reusing the Vessel

Once only 5mm of wax remains, discontinue use for safety. To repurpose your candle vessel:

✔ Warm the jar slightly to loosen remaining wax.

✔ Wipe clean and wash with mild soapy water.

✔ Get creative—use the vessel as a planter, a makeup brush holder, or a stylish catchall for small treasures.
